The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary ICU and Stroke Unit. The unit is a general ICU that includes critically ill cardiac, respiratory, septic, neurological, surgical, neurosurgical, orthopedic and gynecology patients.
The Intensive care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse specializes in providing quality, professional nursing care to high-risk and critically ill patients.
Job Details
Our ICU RNs:
* Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients, including critical patients coming post-surgery.
* Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
* Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.
Qualifications:
* Passion for Critical Care Nursing
* 1+ Years Critical Care RN experience required
* Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree strongly preferred
* Licensure:
New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
* Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) are required
Salary Range
USD $63.56 - USD $63.56 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
