About the Role
Concern Housing is seeking a Medication Manager to provide oversight and monitoring of client medications, educate clients on medications, assist with the development and implementation of medication-related policies and procedures, and provide training to agency staff to ensure compliance.
Days/HoursMonday – Friday; 8am – 4pm
Responsibilities- Provide medication monitoring for identified clients at the SP-SRO who need this service.
- Assess client needs to determine the frequency of medication monitoring.
- Assist clients to monitor and ingest medications independently.
- Facilitate communication among treatment providers regarding client medication regimen concerns.
- Ensure accuracy of medication sheets.
- Facilitate staff training regarding proper medication policies and procedures.
- Perform medication counts: daily for controlled substances, weekly for all other medications; report discrepancies immediately and complete related documentation.
- Order medications as needed, ensuring accurate orders.
- Ensure proper storage and monitoring of all medications.
- Participate in weekly supervision and monthly staff meetings.
- Remain current on all agency‑required compliance documents and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related mental health discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with a psychiatric population.
- Working knowledge of psychotropic medications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make sound judgments regarding client care.
- Salary: $55,000
