Ophthalmic Technician 2 – OCLI Vision

Base pay range: $19.00/hr – $23.00/hr

We’re hiring a fully trained Ophthalmic Technician 2 with 2+ years of refracting experience. You’ll handle pre‑exam workups, patient history, and diagnostic testing—playing a key role in patient care and supporting our physicians in diagnosing and treating eye conditions.

• Perform vision testing: distance/near acuity, peripheral vision, depth & color perception
• Apply anesthetic, dilating, and medicated drops
• Collect/process specimens
• Triage urgent cases and maintain clinic flow
• Prep rooms and assist physicians during procedures
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Follow infection‑control and confidentiality standards

• Ability to work across all specialties and perform all ancillary tasks
• Minimum 2 years refracting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Patient‑focused, outgoing, and service‑oriented
• Calm, dependable problem‑solver
• Positive attitude; strong team player
• Flexible and comfortable with change
• Ocular pharmacology knowledge is a plus, not required
• Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 10 lbs
