WOCN Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care NP - Hospice
Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (WOCN) to join a well-respected Hospice located in the Bronx, NY. Position is 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts. Qualified candidates will have Wound Care NP experience including Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing and Surgical Nursing.
A WOC Nurse Practitioner provides acute and rehabilitative care for people with selected disorders of the gastro-intestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. The WOC NP provides direct care to patients with stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, tubes and incontinence, and serves as an educator, consultant, and researcher. The WOC NP plays a pivotal role in guiding optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current certifications in Wound and Ostomy Nursing or Wound Care Certified (required).
- Membership in Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Society (preferred).
- Minimum of two years Medical/Surgical, Wound Care nursing experience.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing. Masters Degree required.
- Graduate of a WOCN accredited WOC Nursing Education Program (required).
Job Type: Full-time - 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week.
- Includes accrued vacation days, sick days, holidays, and free days.

- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Salary: Salary range $160,000 - $180,000, based on NP experience, education and certifications.
