Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. This position is primarily focused on Gynecology, including routine exams, patient consultations, and follow-up care. Experience with Obstetrics is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive gynecologic evaluations, well-woman exams, and preventive care visits
- Manage common GYN conditions, including contraceptive counseling, menopause management, infections, and abnormal Pap results
- Perform in-office procedures (e.g., Pap smears, IUD insertion/removal, biopsies, etc.)
- Provide patient education and counseling with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
- Assist with OB care when needed, including prenatal visits and postpartum follow-ups (if applicable)
- Review lab and diagnostic results, communicate findings, and manage treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation in the EMR system
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and bedside manner
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of New York
- Minimum 1 year of direct, hands-on clinical experience (preferably in Women’s Health or OB/GYN)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable engaging with patients in sensitive discussions with empathy and discretion
- Committed to delivering high-quality, concierge-style patient care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a private practice setting
