MAIN FUNCTION:
The RN is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients during a designated timeframe, providing care through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and collaboration with other healthcare team members. The RN performs duties according to established standards of care and the core values of the Division of Nursing. Reports to the assigned Unit Director.

EDUCATION:
Current NYS nursing licensure, limited permit, or eligibility. Excellent communication and writing skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires physical effort such as lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving patients of various sizes. Some reaching and stooping. Must be on feet most of the time.
