Community Outreach Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Community Outreach Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with schools, nonprofit organizations, and executive leaders to expand awareness, partnership opportunities, and engagement around our initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Support the organization’s outreach, engagement, and partnership-building efforts
• Serve as a professional representative of the organization across external-facing opportunities
• Help build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and community partners
• Assist in identifying opportunities that expand the organization’s reach and visibility
• Coordinate communications, follow-ups, and general outreach activities
• Work collaboratively across teams to support strategic priorities and initiatives
• Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, events, and engagement efforts
• Track outreach activity and maintain organized records of stakeholder engagement
• Contribute to projects that advance the organization’s mission and public presence

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in outreach, partnerships, public relations, community engagement, or a related field
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience engaging with professional stakeholders such as educators, nonprofit leaders, and executives
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with marketing, promotional strategy, and community engagement is a plus
