Volunteer: UI​/UX Designer Stories of Strength Project

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX designer with experience in Figma and responsive design to help enhance the user experience of our nonprofit platform. Your work will focus on creating intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces for patients, providers, and donors, ensuring a seamless experience across web and mobile platforms.

• Only applicants with the required skills and a commitment of 4+ hours/week will be considered.

This project will help improve healthcare access and engagement by creating a platform that is easy to navigate, visually clear, and user-friendly. By enhancing the user experience, your work will empower patients, providers, and donors to connect more effectively and access resources that improve health outcomes for individuals with complex diseases.

We’ll provide existing wireframes, branding guidelines, stakeholder insights, and user personas, plus weekly check-ins to review progress. Your designs will be implemented immediately to enhance the platform’s usability, accessibility, and visual appeal for all users.
