Volunteer: Design Visually Compelling Impact Report Nonprofit Serving Refugees & Migrants

Overview

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Creshendo is looking for a graphic designer to help us design a short but powerful visual impact report. We’re a growing nonprofit working with refugees and migrants. Over the past year, our team has launched new pilots, expanded partnerships, and grown to over 70 volunteers worldwide.

Now, we need a clear and beautiful way to share that story. You’ll take our written content, quotes, program highlights, and team stats and turn them into a clean, visually engaging report we can share with funders, partners, and our broader community. This report will help us build trust, open doors, and show the value of what our global team is building together.

We’re aiming for something that feels inspiring and grounded, with strong visuals and a layout that holds attention and that can capture the nontraditional setup of our organization.

This report is one of the most important tools we’ll use to secure funding and partnerships for the year ahead. We’re not just telling people what we do, but showing them. Your design work will help amplify the voices of the communities we serve and build long-term support for refugee and migrant-led programs around the world. If you’re passionate about design that drives change and want your work to matter, we’d love to collaborate with you.

You’ll receive the finalized copy, images, and visual direction from our team lead and brand strategist. We’ll share past materials and examples of the tone and design styles we like. You’ll have space to bring your creative vision while staying aligned with our brand. We work quickly and collaboratively. You’ll have a clear point of contact and feedback loops that respect your time and process.
