We collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders—MSMEs, artisans, designers, online sellers, marketing experts, big brands, economic corporations, media, and more—to inspire the creative economy toward sustainability and ethics. Adriana Marina, Ashoka Fellow and founder of HxN, leads this charge alongside Animaná, working with over 80 organizations and international partners to promote sustainable and ethical practices throughout the creative industry.

Job DescriptionAs a Volunteer Ambassador, you represent HxN in your university, city, and professional network. You help grow awareness, onboard new allies, and activate collaborations that advance a sustainable and ethical creative economy. You communicate HxN’s mission, connect stakeholders, and support local initiatives that strengthen responsible value chains in the creative economy.

- Community and network growth
- Promote HxN’s mission and programs in events, universities, and online communities.
- Identify and engage potential partners, volunteers, and supporters.
- Partnership support
- Support outreach to MSMEs, artisans, designers, brands, universities, and local institutions.
- Help coordinate introductory calls and follow-ups with prospects.
- Content and storytelling
- Share approved messages, campaigns, and impact stories across social channels and communities.
- Collect local stories and insights from the creative ecosystem and share them with the core team.
- Event activation
- Help organize or support webinars, workshops, and local meetups aligned with HxN priorities.
- Represent HxN at relevant conferences or community events when needed.
- Feedback and market intelligence
- Provide insights on local needs, opportunities, and risks in the creative industry.
- Share learnings that can improve programs, partnerships, and communications.
- Strong communication skills in English. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Interest in sustainability, ethical fashion, circular economy, creative industries, or social innovation.
- Ability to build relationships and work with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable speaking in public and engaging in professional outreach.
- Organized, proactive, and able to deliver on commitments.
- Experience in community management, partnerships, event support, or social media.
- Basic understanding of traceability, value chains, or impact measurement.
- Familiarity with blockchain or decentralized finance concepts.
- 4 to 6 hours per week for at least 3 months, flexible schedule.
- Exposure to an international network across Latin America and Africa.
- Hands‑on experience in partnerships, community building, and impact‑driven projects.
- Mentorship and learning opportunities with HxN and partner organizations.
- Volunteer certificate and references based on performance and availability.
- Number of qualified leads introduced to HxN.
- Participation and engagement in ambassador activities and events.
- Quality of stakeholder follow‑ups and local insights shared with the team.
