Location: New York

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Programmatic Media to help grow our programmatic media practice. This is a hands-on and strategic role for an experienced professional with 6 years of programmatic buying experience, including deep knowledge of Connected TV (CTV). The ideal candidate will oversee platform partnerships, manage high-impact programmatic campaigns, and play a key role in new business growth and team development.

This role reports into the VP of Digital Media.

Key Responsibilities Platform Management
  • Serve as the agency’s point of contact for all programmatic media initiatives, including CTV, display, audio, and DOOH.
  • Oversee and maintain relationships with major DSP partners (e.g., The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Simpli.fi) to ensure the agency is leveraging best practices, betas, and technology advancements.
  • Manage relationships with supply-side partners (SSPs), content providers, streaming apps, and network partners to optimize inventory quality and pricing.
Campaign Management
  • Oversee campaign strategy, setup, and optimization to meet client performance goals and KPIs, with support from junior team members.
  • Provide analytical insights and actionable recommendations based on campaign data with ability to communicate them clearly to clients.
Business Development
  • Responsible for the programmatic response for RFPs and new business opportunities, including strategy, pricing, and presentation support.
Strategic Leadership & Agency Development
  • Develop internal training programs to upskill the media team on programmatic platforms, CTV strategies, and best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging programmatic technologies and data solutions to drive innovation and performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop programmatic case studies and agency thought leadership materials.
  • If desired, this role offers the opportunity to cross-train in other digital channels such as Search, Meta, Tik Tok, and emerging social platforms, expanding your strategic influence across the full digital media mix.
Qualifications
  • 6 years of programmatic media experience within an agency or in-house marketing team
  • Proven expertise in CTV buying and programmatic media strategy with deep hands-on experience with DSPs (The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and/or Simpli.fi preferred).
  • Strong understanding of supply path optimization, audience targeting, and data strategy.
  • Skilled in campaign performance analysis, optimization, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
