Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York

We are looking for a US-based Content Manager to join our talented, dynamic, and rapidly growing global team. We have an in-office policy of 2 days per week for local NYC-based employees.

Company Description

Open Asset is the leading marketing platform for the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industries, trusted by 1,000+ clients over 20 years. Our mission is to be the most innovative partner to AEC firms, delivering solutions that help win more projects. We recently announced a new AI-Proposal product Shred.ai to continue this mission.

We’re a diverse, collaborative, and fast-growing team of 100+ employees with offices in New York and London and a global client base. Backed by Marlin Equity Partners, we’re passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and has a voice, and we actively hire from a diverse pool of candidates.

Content Manager Description

We’re looking for a Content Manager who thrives in autonomy and wants to do more than execute assignments. This role is designed for a self-starter who enjoys owning content end to end—strategy, execution, optimization, and iteration—and who is excited to proactively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

You’ll join a small but high-impact marketing team where trust is earned quickly and ideas can move fast. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how content works at Open Asset, experiment with new approaches, and prove your value early—without layers of bureaucracy.

If you’re motivated by ownership, curious by nature, and energized by building something meaningful, this role is for you.

Content Manager Responsibilities
  • Own the planning, creation, and publishing of content across key channels, including blog, website, landing pages, and campaigns.
  • Translate business goals, SEO briefs, and campaign needs into clear, compelling long-form content such as blog posts, guides, and even video content.
  • Optimize content for both SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO), ensuring strong performance across traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms.
  • Analyze content performance and trends to inform updates, improvements, and future strategy.
  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, and subject matter experts to gather input and move content forward.
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities independently, recommending and executing improvements without waiting for direction.
  • Experiment with new formats, tools, and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and impact.
Content Manager Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years experience managing an end-to-end editorial process as a Content Manager, Content Strategist, or similar role.
  • A degree in English, Journalism, or Public Relations is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience planning, managing, and publishing content—ideally in Word Press—while building and executing content strategy with minimal supervision.
  • Strong command of SEO fundamentals, including keyword strategy, search intent, and content structure, paired with an understanding of generative engine optimization (GEO).
  • Deep understanding of content performance metrics and trends across channels such as blogs, landing pages, social media, video, and campaigns.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, ownership, and impact.
  • Experience proactively collaborating cross-functionally to bring content ideas to life.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • Medical / Dental / Vision coverage - 100% employer-paid for employees, 50% employer-paid for dependents
  • 20 days paid time off per year + federal holidays (UK style!)
  • 5 paid sick days
  • Work from home flexibility
  • Commuter benefits
  • 401k
  • Paid parental leave
  • Career growth and development opportunities

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
