DIRECTV Advertising is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to join our Ad Sales team.
The Product Marketing team is responsible for supporting the strategic positioning of advertising products and solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle and customer experience. We develop go-to-market strategies, sales materials, and thought leadership to support the successful adoption of advertising products in market. We are looking for a strategic, creative, driven leader to join our team!
The Senior Director of Product Marketing will lead the product marketing and sales enablement functions, shaping how DIRECTV Advertising’s products are positioned, launched, and messaged in a rapidly evolving media landscape. This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team and serving as a strategic partner to Product, Sales, Strategy, Marketing, Analytics and Insights, and other stakeholder partners. The Senior Director will define go-to-market strategy, clarify product value propositions, and ensure DIRECTV Advertising’s offers resonate with advertisers, agencies and partners.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-functioning product and sales marketers.
- Set the vision, priorities, and operating rhythm for the product marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for our advertising, data, and technology suites, as well as cross-functional launch initiatives to drive internal and external readiness and successful adoption of new products and features in-market.
- Bring a deep understanding and point of view of the TV/CTV advertising industry, trends, competitive landscape and work to create value propositions for DIRECTV Advertising.
- Partner closely with Product to influence product roadmaps based on market insights, advertiser needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Ensure consistent messaging across sales materials, marketing campaigns, presentations, and internal/external communications.
- Translate complex advertising, data, and tech capabilities into compelling, customer-centric stories.
- Develop high-impact enablement tools—sales narratives, one sheets, objection-handling frameworks.
