While the position is hybrid remote and in‑office, the role is expected to be located in one of our hub cities (NYC, LA, Baltimore/D.C.); therefore, candidates already located in these areas will be given preference.

TheOpportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and results‑driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for Unrivaled Flag. This role will be instrumental in growing the Unrivaled Flag brand, driving tournament registrations, and building the Unrivaled Flag business into the industry leader. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, understands the grassroots athletics market, and has a proven track record in digital and event marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Awareness and Customer Growth
Develop and execute the comprehensive go‑to‑market strategy for Unrivaled Flag tournaments and tentpole events, focusing on driving awareness, engagement, and most importantly, registration.
Define and execute strategies to actively grow the Unrivaled Flag brand footprint and recognition within the youth sports ecosystem.
Design and manage full‑funnel marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and owned venues to achieve key registration and revenue goals.
Social & Community Engagement
Manage the content calendar and day‑to‑day operations for all Unrivaled Flag social media channels, fostering a highly engaged and growing online community.
Sales and Lifecycle Marketing
Serve as the primary marketing contact for Sales, delivering high‑impact collateral (e.g., presentations, brochures) and relevant campaign assets.
Own lifecycle marketing efforts (e.g., email, SMS) aimed at nurturing leads and driving customer growth and retention.
QualificationsA minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the sports, events or youth athletics industry.
Proven success in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns that drive direct registrations or e‑commerce sales.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to and execute brand‑building strategies.
Deep understanding and hands‑on experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, X, etc.) for a brand.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into clear, actionable marketing strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop scalable sales tools (e.g., collateral, case studies)
Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., email service providers, analytics platforms, social media management tools).
Strong preference to be based in New York, NY.
