Location: New York

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for the business unit, ensuring alignment with both business priorities and organizational goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations to strengthen engagement and communication effectiveness.
  • Maintain consistent communication standards across all channels, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with our client's brand guidelines.
Storytelling & Thought Leadership
  • Identify high impact stories from across the unit that can be showcased internally and externally.
  • Utilize strong storytelling techniques to convey our client's value proposition, industry leadership, and innovative solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to position our client's executives and subject matter experts as thought leaders in the market.
  • Coach and guide leaders to enhance their executive presence, visibility, and communication effectiveness.
  • Lead the creation, development, and dissemination of news, announcements, and business updates in collaboration with corporate communications, marketing, client teams, and business leadership.
  • Produce high quality content tailored to diverse audiences, including customers, partners, media, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage content development projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and editorial excellence.
  • Review, refine, and approve communication materials to uphold accuracy, clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with internal content creators to elevate the impact and effectiveness of all communication outputs.
Media Relations & External Communications
  • Oversee the business unit’s global media relations strategy, working closely with regional and corporate communications teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, media representatives, and business partners.
  • Manage proactive and reactive press activities, ensuring visibility and reputation management.
  • Lead the planning and execution of PR strategies for industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Manage media engagement and press coverage for events to maximize visibility and audience reach.
  • Develop event specific communication materials, including press kits, speeches, talking points, and presentations.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, communications partners and industry collaborators.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across our client's industry units and partner organizations.
  • Ensure transparen t and timely information flow, supporting alignment and shared understanding across teams.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in communications, media relations, and social media management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact internal and external communications within large, complex organizations.
  • Well-established relationships with U.S. media and hands-on experience managing press engagement and publications.
  • Advanced expertise in social media strategy, analytics, and content governance, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional English writing, editing, and presentation skills, with a keen eye for clarity and narrative flow.
  • Ability to translate complex IT and technology concepts into clear, accessible messages for broad audiences.
  • Extensive experience in event-related PR and media coordination, ensuring strong visibility and coverage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field;
    Master’s degree preferred.
