Position:

Rubenstein Public Relations is seeking a Media Relations specialist to join our team. As a Media Relations Specialist at, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with media outlets, pitching stories, and crafting compelling narratives to promote our clients’ objectives. You will collaborate with our clients to develop and execute media strategies across various platforms, including press releases, op-eds, interviews, and social media.

Responsibilities:

• Provide media relations guidance and support to account teams and clients
• Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies for client programs
• Leverage both traditional PR approaches and innovative tactics to maximize reach
• Create strategic, creative programs that generate meaningful media coverage
• Cultivate ongoing relationships with key media contacts and industry journalists
• Coordinate with account teams and clients to deliver timely project updates and reporting

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of PR agency experience
• Strong media contacts and excellent writing skills
• Proven ability to create media plans from concept and follow through to placement
• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional communications programs and delivering on set targets

To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $80K - 95K
