- The Impact Entrepreneurship Initiative (IEI) at The New School offers a two-year graduate fellowship experience for high-potential leaders committed to creating social impact through entrepreneurship while pursuing a master’s degree at The New School.

- IEI seeks a motivated and creative Marketing, PR & Communications Assistant to support strategic communications across digital platforms.
- This role is ideal for a student with strong writing, branding, and content strategy skills who is ready to contribute immediately.
- The assistant will help shape and execute a cohesive communications strategy that elevates IEI’s visibility, strengthens brand consistency, and amplifies student, faculty, and program impact.

Work Mode: Hybrid
Hourly Rate: $19/hr

Minimum Qualifications- Academic or professional background in marketing, communications, public relations, media studies, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
- Understanding of branding principles and experience delivering on-brand messaging.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content distribution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Comfortable collaborating across departments and working independently.
- Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Experience developing or executing a content calendar or communications strategy.
- Familiarity with higher education or mission-driven organizations.
- Basic analytics experience (social media insights, email metrics).
- Experience working with CMS platforms or email marketing tools.
