Associate Brand Manager, Jack Black Grooming Strategy Position SummaryThe Associate Brand Manager will be an integral member of the Jack Black Brand Marketing team, supporting the growth, innovation, and performance of the Jack Black brand. Reporting to the Brand leader, this role will partner closely with cross functional teams to support consumer marketing activities, product commercialization, and ongoing brand performance management.
Key responsibilities include partnering closely with the Innovation team on go to market strategies for new product launches, supporting SKU rationalization efforts to improve portfolio productivity, and providing analytical support across brand and product level performance. The Associate Brand Manager will also support the development of selling stories to drive distribution and off shelf opportunities, contribute to packaging and merchandising evaluations, and provide insights through regular brand and category reporting.

Accountabilities- Support the execution of Jack Black brand strategies and initiatives under the direction of the Brand Leader.
- Provide analytical and strategic support to the annual strategic, sales, and marketing planning processes, including sales forecasting, competitive assessment, evaluation of past program performance, and identification of key insights and implications.
- Partner closely with the Innovation team to support go to market strategy development for new product launches, including positioning, pricing considerations, portfolio role, and commercialization readiness.
- Support the execution of elements of the 4P strategy product, price, promotion, placement at the brand and product levels.
- Play a key role in SKU rationalization efforts by analyzing SKU level performance, identifying productivity opportunities, and supporting recommendations to optimize the portfolio.
- Monitor and analyze brand level and product level P&L performance, including identifying drivers of variance versus plan and surfacing risks and opportunities.
- Closely monitor and analyze sales volumes, market share trends, and competitive activity; manage SKU level forecasting, volume bridges, and ship share models to support forecast accuracy.
- Initiate and support market research projects to generate consumer and customer insights that inform brand decisions and long term growth opportunities.
- Identify and apply key consumer and category insights to support business opportunities and anticipate competitive response to brand actions.
- Analyze syndicated data IRI to produce regular brand and category performance reporting that explains key trends and performance drivers.
- Partner closely with Customer Development to identify opportunities to increase productivity, expand distribution, and optimize product mix across channels of trade.
- Support creative briefing and evaluation of packaging, merchandising, and commercial innovation initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business or Marketing related disciplines.
