OverviewNews Corp is seeking a Global Creative Solutions Lead to head our efforts in growing advertising revenue in creative solutions for advertisers, including branded content, live events and other innovative direct sales solutions. This individual will work across a wide range of stakeholders—including News UK, News Australia, Dow Jones, The New York Post, and Harper Collins. This is a high-visibility role for a creative and commercially minded leader who can blend relationship management, cross-functional collaboration and compelling storytelling to help deliver on News Corp’s global revenue ambitions.
PrimaryResponsibilities
Grow New Business
Grow sales in the high-touch, creatively-led side of our advertising business.
Work with HQ and our BUs to proactively identify, unlock and pitch advertisers and agencies with new ideas.
Lead collaboration across-BU and functional teams (e.g., sales, creative, tech) to develop outstanding and innovative creative solutions for inbound and relevant advertiser pitches and proposals (i.e., those that cover multiple markets and/or business units).
Responsible for all aspects of the creative solution, including the planning, ideation, conceptualization, and development of a creative solution(s), which can include “the big idea”, branded content, events, and innovative activations.
Accelerate and Advance Our Products and Process
Lead our efforts to create a more connected and seamless creative solutions process and approach across our business units.
Develop innovation and development of new advertising creative solutions, particularly with AI advancements, in collaboration across our business units.
Evaluate and operationalize market trends, competitive shifts and emerging innovation in the creative solutions space.
Foster greater collaboration, sharing and connectivity amongst our creative solutions talent across our business units.
Build Our Profile
Develop high-impact materials—including thought-leadership, multi-market sales collateral and client-ready proposals—that articulate News Corp’s unique value across businesses and geographies.
Raise News Corp’s profile and creative reputation and represent News Corp at customer events and major industry events, such as Cannes Lions.
10+ years working in the advertising industry (advertiser, agency, publication, platform) with strong experience in leading and developing creative solutions.
University degree or specialized certification.
Proven experience in selling advertising solutions and growing advertiser relationships.
Ability to evaluate market and technology trends and translate them into actionable recommendations.
Outstanding communication skills and ability to present and pitch to senior advertiser executives.
Strong understanding of the evolving media, advertising and consumer technology landscape.
High commercial acumen and experience developing pitches and proposals.
A self-starter comfortable operating in a matrixed, fast-moving, unstructured environment.
Pay Range: $195,000 - $230,000 + Bonus

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Similarly to salary, for bonus eligible roles, targets are set based on a variety of factors including competitive market practice.
