About

The Role

We are looking for a data-obsessed Growth Marketing Manager to own Pickle’s customer acquisition funnel
.

In this role, you will own the entire customer journey
, from the first click at the top of the funnel to repeat purchases deep in the lifecycle. You are both the architect of demand generation and the guardian of retention and LTV
.

You will build and optimize backend lifecycle automation (Lifecycle Marketing) and manage our paid acquisition channels (Performance Marketing) to maximize efficiency, retention, and long-term value. This is a highly hands-on role with real ownership and accountability for results.

You’ll work closely with Product, GTM, Marketing, and Ops in a fast-paced, in-person-first environment to turn insights into action.

Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of experience in growth, performance, and/or lifecycle marketing, ideally with a track record of scaling spend while maintaining efficiency (ROAS, CAC, payback, etc.)
  • Strong analytical mindset — you make decisions based on data, not gut feel; fluent in GA4 and comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Proven ability to analyze funnel performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion across the customer journey
  • Hands‑on experience managing paid acquisition channels, including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Tik Tok Ads (or similar platforms)
  • Experience building and optimizing lifecycle programs using CRM and marketing automation tools such as Klaviyo, Braze, Hub Spot, or similar
  • Strategic thinker who understands marketing as a holistic ecosystem — you know that acquisition only matters if it converts and retains
  • High ownership, results‑driven mindset; you thrive in a startup or high‑growth environment and are comfortable moving quickly and iterating
  • Passion for consumer marketplaces, fashion, and circularity is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities Performance Marketing (Acquisition)
  • Own and optimize monthly paid media spend across key channels including Meta, Google, Tik Tok, and emerging platforms, with a strict focus on ROAS, CAC, and payback targets
  • Design and execute A/B tests across ad creative, audiences, and landing pages to improve conversion throughout the funnel
  • Own the demand funnel, analyzing traffic quality and optimizing the path from visitor → activated user → first transaction
  • Continuously identify opportunities to scale efficient spend while maintaining performance discipline
Lifecycle Marketing (Retention)
  • Map, build, and optimize automated email and SMS flows (Welcome, Abandoned Browse/Cart, Post‑Purchase, Win‑back, etc.) to drive repeat transactions
  • Segment users across renter and lender personas to deliver personalized, behavior‑driven messaging
  • Improve retention, engagement, and LTV while reducing churn across both sides of the marketplace
Data & Strategy
  • Report weekly on core growth KPIs including CAC, LTV, ROAS, payback period, conversion rate, and retention
  • Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights — not just dashboards
  • Collaborate closely with creative resources to brief, test, and iterate on high‑performing ad assets
  • Oversee basic technical SEO hygiene to ensure organic performance complements paid efforts
  • Partner with Product and GTM teams to surface user insights and inform roadmap and go‑to‑market decisions

Compensation Range: $150K - $200K
