Day One Agency is hiring a Senior Director, Brand to oversee integrated teams and client relationships. Day One is a creative agency committed to fresh thinking and daily opportunities to start from the beginning. The team is composed of cultural insiders and industry outsiders, all storytellers s full-time, hybrid role is located in New York City.

Responsibilities- Provide strong business and account leadership, overseeing account health, profitability, and long-term growth
- Build trusted, impactful client partnerships and serve as a senior strategic advisor
- Lead creative thinking by defining, shaping, and selling ideas rooted in brand strategy and business objectives
- Shepherd work from brief through execution, ensuring quality, clarity, and consistency
- Bring a clear, confident point of view on what makes great work and actively share it with teams and clients
- Collaborate closely with design, strategy, and communications partners to develop campaigns and ongoing programs
- Drive ideation across channels, identifying both platform-specific opportunities and holistic solutions
- Translate complex challenges into simple, compelling creative solutions
- Stay deeply informed on social, digital, and cultural shifts, identifying emerging opportunities to apply to client work
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships that extend the Day One community and network
- Support new business efforts as needed, including shaping RFPs, leading creative responses, and presenting to prospective clients
- Conduct research and analysis to inform strategy, creative direction, and new ideas
- 8+ years of agency experience, managing or contributing to creative ideation and campaign/asset execution
- Experience thinking through both campaign tactics and the big picture
- Ability to articulate the why and the how of an idea
- Understanding of both major and emerging social platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Conceptual thinking skill, editorially minded
- Leadership and creative problem solving skills
- Demonstrated passion for people, organization, and an excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience with, and a love for, presenting to teams and clients
- Self-motivated, organized, and reliable
- Passion for earned creative and brand storytelling
We value all of our employees and provide comprehensive benefits to support them holistically. The base compensation range for this role is $130,000–$155,000 and is eligible for benefits including medical insurance (health, dental, vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, and bonuses. This notice is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
