Basic Function:
Great opportunity for a seasoned, entrepreneurial marketing manager with a passion for product! The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical category such as skincare, haircare or haircolor with a focus on global marketing and product development. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail are a must; creativity is a plus. Five or more years’ experience required. Major Duties:
Identifies consumer, salon, and technological insights and trendsBuilds, maintains and protects the brand DNA while driving innovationFosters collaborative relationships with Domestic and International MarketingGenerates innovative product ideas and concepts that will continue to feed the future pipeline of brand growthLeads the development process including product positioning, formulation, packaging, and pricingAssists in development of category strategy, branding and advertising/communicationEvaluates and identifies cost savings, improvements and other ongoing initiatives to contribute growth and value to the bottom line of the organizationSupports management of the brand support budgetSupport the management of the brand P&L in partnership with local marketsConducts market research (Focus Groups, Surveys, Competitive Analysis) and identifies areas of focusCo-manage and develop a Marketing AssociateJob Requirements:
Bachelor degree requiredRelated work experience 5-7 years; language and international experience is a plusSelf-starter and entrepreneurialMust be ‘hands-on’ and get involved with the details.Development experience preferredAble to demonstrate leadership and ownership of projectsStrong communication skillsHighly conceptual with strong affinity for aestheticsA passion, curiosity and natural interest for beauty#J-18808-Ljbffr
