The Brand Merchandising Lead will be directly responsible for driving vision and strategy for RLX and World of Sports. They will execute strategy with influential collaboration & consumer at the center across the value chain—design, product development, marketing, digital, and regional buying partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Accountable for a deep knowledge of the consumer segments in both the World of Sports/RLX & all RL Brands.
- Expert in the active & sporting event marketplace—present quarterly competitive analysis driven through market research & connectivity with regional partners.
- Partner with Senior Brand Creative Director & Design team to ensure the vision is captured while aligning with strategy.
- Collaborate with buying, marketing, digital & BI to create a clear consumer journey.
- Drive long‑range plan targets and proactively contribute to LRDP process; identify growth opportunities in product offer validated by analytics and regional market insights.
- Analyze business through investment and sales recaps with ability to create and present executive summaries.
- Lead all go‑to‑market activities & milestones leading up to assortment mapping, marketing focuses, showroom prep, digital site mapping, & store set up.
- Collaborate with marketing to support partnership sporting events driving adherence to partner contracts & RL initiatives.
- In partnership with product management team, monitor adherence to deadlines & cost targets ensuring on‑time deliveries & an accretive margin.
- In conjunction with regional buying & retail teams, provide framework & implementation of product training.
- Strengthen talent of the organization by leading peers, promoting successful partnerships, and managing effective and diverse teams.
- Ability to equally balance creative and commercial.
- Successful track record of consistently delivering profitable growth.
- Ability to quickly identify market value drivers; prioritize and act on opportunities to position the business for growth.
- A career demonstrating solid leadership skills and cross‑functional influencing skills; proven ability to develop and implement new strategies in competitive business situations.
- Ability to successfully motivate, negotiate and influence effectively across departments & divisions; strong understanding of the product life cycle & business calendars.

- Comprehensive understanding of retail math—business terminology, key retail metrics, and calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint, Adobe, Vibe IQ & GFE preferred.
