Account Manager, Lifestyle – Food & Beverage
PURPLE is seeking an Account Manager to join our Lifestyle division in New York. The ideal candidate has a proven track record developing and executing integrated campaigns (earned media, programming, activations, partnerships, influencers), mentoring junior staff, and strong media contacts. Experience with restaurants, food and beverage clients is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the day‑to‑day lead and trusted advisor to clients.
- Execute client programs and campaigns from planning to execution, delivering results.
- Identify traditional and innovative concepts to connect clients with audiences.
- Pull and collaborate with different agency divisions to ensure access to network‑wide expertise.
- Manage client benchmarks and deliver media coverage through leadership and guidance.
- Consistently produce high‑quality internal and external communications content.
- Manage and motivate team members to ensure smooth operations and support staff growth.
- Work with directors to craft strategies reflecting client goals and objectives.
- Aid in new business proposals as needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 4‑6 years at a PR agency or in‑house marketing/communications.
- Proven track record with food & beverage press and social media creators.
- Deep relationships with national and regional media across broadcast, print, and online.
- Articulates ideas succinctly and comfortable with public speaking and presentations.
- Exceptionally strong writing for media and client communications.
- Proactive attitude, team mentality, and ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and ability to prioritize multiple assignments. - Collaborative, positive attitude.
