About Samyang’s Healthcare Unit

Samyang Roundsquare is launching a new Healthcare Division based in the U.S., with plans to expand globally. The division will focus on developing and commercializing scientifically grounded products that support metabolic health, initially through Direct‑to‑Consumer (DTC) and e‑commerce channels, with potential future expansion into healthcare professional and retail channels.

The U.S. team is being built from the ground up, starting lean and agile. The first product will likely be based on a novel probiotic ingredient. Future innovation will be shaped by consumer research and ongoing collaboration with R&D teams in Korea, who bring deep scientific expertise to the product development process.

Position Summary

The Product Marketing Manager – Health & Wellness will lead the development and execution of brand strategies for Samyang’s U.S. healthcare portfolio. The role is responsible for building awareness, equity, and trust around new-to-market wellness brands, with a strong focus on consumer‑centricity and digital‑first execution. It requires strategic leadership, strong analytical acumen, and the ability to work cross‑functionally to ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints.

This position owns the brand P&L and plays a central role in innovation, marketing communication, and performance tracking post‑launch.

Remote, with plans to transition to a New York City office once established.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the launch and commercialization of new products in the U.S. market, including positioning, messaging, and cross‑functional execution.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant cross‑functional teams to ensure 360‑degree marketing activation.
  • Partner with creative and media agencies to develop and implement integrated campaigns that support product growth.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Define and articulate brand positioning, personality, and key messaging.
  • Lead consumer segmentation and targeting efforts based on market and insight‑driven data.
  • Translate consumer research and cultural trends into actionable brand strategies.
  • Leverage data and internal tools to monitor brand health and category trends.
  • Represent the voice of the consumer in all stages of brand development.
  • Own the brand P&L and monitor performance metrics including revenue, margin, and ROI.
  • Conduct post‑launch analysis and recommend optimizations to strengthen product positioning and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, and supply chain to shape innovation pipelines.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to execute go‑to‑market plans with agility and ensure compliance with regulatory and category norms across all consumer‑facing content.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in product or brand marketing, preferably in health, wellness, or consumer healthcare categories.
  • Proven track record in launching and scaling consumer products in competitive markets.
  • Experience developing go‑to‑market strategies and managing product messaging across channels.
  • Strong strategic thinking, product storytelling, and creative judgment.
  • Analytical skills with experience using data to inform messaging and positioning decisions.
  • Ability to synthesize customer insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Experience managing external agencies and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder alignment, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited structure.
