Director, VIP Influencer Marketing (Beauty)

Location:

NYC Hybrid at our Flatiron office (3 in-office days)

Salary Range: $75-100K based on experience

About the role:

You’ll lead influencer and VIP strategy across multiple beauty brands, cultivating relationships with top-tier talent and agents, and overseeing all aspects of campaign and gifting execution — from strategy and budgeting to reporting and performance insights.

Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of experience in influencer marketing or talent relations, ideally within the beauty industry
  • Strong knowledge of the beauty influencer and VIP landscape, with established relationships across creators, agents, and managers
  • Proven success developing and executing full-scale influencer and experiential campaigns — from strategy and budgeting to performance analysis
  • Skilled in negotiation, contracting, briefing, tracking deliverables, and managing budgets and reporting
  • Proficient in influencer marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Tribe Dynamics), as well as Google Suite
  • Experienced people manager with the ability to lead teams, juggle multiple priorities, and remain composed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborative and strategic thinker with a passion for beauty, social media, and influencer culture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Based in NYC with flexibility to travel for events and client activations as needed
  • Experience with athlete or sports partnerships a plus

Responsibilities

Influencer Marketing

  • Lead influencer and VIP strategy across multiple beauty brands, driving integrated paid and organic programs that build awareness, affinity, and growth.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with influencers, talent managers, and agents to secure meaningful partnerships and long-term brand advocates.
  • Oversee campaign planning and execution from start to finish — including strategy, budgeting, briefing, content approvals, and performance reporting — ensuring excellence at every stage.
  • Act as a trusted client partner, providing strategic guidance, data-backed insights, and creative recommendations that strengthen both brand and agency performance.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth across all influencer and experiential initiatives.
  • Monitor emerging trends, social platforms, and creator behaviors to evolve influencer strategies and keep clients at the forefront of cultural conversation.
Events
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of influencer events, providing strategic input to ensure concepts and experiences resonate with attendees.
  • Provide on-site event support, including setup, guest management, and post-event breakdown, ensuring an elevated and organized experience from start to finish
  • Coordinate event logistics, travel, and talent attendance in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
  • Capture event insights, performance highlights, and post-event recaps to inform future strategies and demonstrate ROI
  • Travel as needed to support events, ensuring seamless execution and strong representation of both the brand and agency.
