The Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA) is the national trade association representing the out of home (OOH) advertising industry. OAAA protects, promotes, and advances the interests of its members through advocacy, education, and thought leadership.
Position OverviewOAAA is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our growing team in New York. This role is central to executing digital marketing initiatives that increase visibility, engagement, and member value. Marketing Associate is a short‑term, non‑benefited position expected to last approximately three months, with the opportunity to convert to a full‑time employee in early 2026.
The ideal candidate is a flexible, hands‑on marketing professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and can move fluidly between creative and analytical work. You should be comfortable figuring out any platform — whether managing campaigns, optimizing performance, or designing visual assets — and turning strategy into action across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities Email Marketing- Develop, schedule, and oversee all OAAA email campaigns, including newsletters and managing various email lists, ensuring accuracy and measurable results
- Manage the marketing database and CRM integrations to maintain clean data, segmentation, and automated workflows.
- Manage marketing automation systems (e.g., Hub Spot) to streamline workflows and improve lead nurturing.
- Maintain and update the OAAA website, including graphics, research, case studies, and manage the creative library
- Collaborate with external developers on functionality improvements and performance optimization.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance reach and visibility.
- Track digital marketing performance and optimize campaigns based on data insights.
- Create regular reports and dashboards to inform strategy and decision‑making.
- Design branded graphics and assets for OAAA’s website, programs, events, emails, and social media.
- Support presentation and document design to ensure brand consistency.
- Manage OAAA’s PSA Hub, including asset collection, distribution, and analytics.
- Oversee webinar promotion, execution, and post‑event analytics.
- Support integrated campaigns across digital, email, and event channels.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1‑4 years of professional marketing experience, ideally in a trade association, advertising/marketing, or B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hub Spot, Member Suite).
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Word Press) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Swoogo).
- Working knowledge of CRM systems (Member Suite preferred).
- Basic proficiency in design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
