Associate Director of Talent Strategy

A Senior Paid Search Manager develops and executes paid search strategies, manages campaigns and budgets, analyzes performance data, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams. This role involves both strategic planning and hands‑on execution, with a focus on driving measurable results for a diverse client base, often in a fast‑paced environment. Key responsibilities include conducting keyword research, writing ad copy, optimizing campaigns, and staying current with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy and implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive paid search strategies that align with client business goals and deliver measurable growth.
  • Campaign management: Oversee the day‑to‑day management of paid search campaigns, including keyword research, budget allocation, bidding strategies, and ad copy testing.
  • Performance analysis: Regularly analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization, and use insights to drive strategy and inform clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other agency teams (e.g., SEO, paid social, creative) to ensure integrated and cohesive campaign efforts.
  • Client communication: Build and maintain strong client relationships by proactively communicating performance insights and recommendations.
  • Innovation and efficiency: Utilize automation tools, scripts, and new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members to build expertise and ensure best practices are followed.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Technical proficiency: Strong experience in paid search platforms, including Google Ads, and proficiency with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, identify key trends, and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and building client relationships.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in paid search, including managing large budgets, complex accounts, and performing the full execution cycle (from creation to reporting).
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
