Paint Shop Supervisor

Paint Shop Supervisor – Direct Hire Full-Time | Direct Hire | Benefits Included A well-established and family-owned manufacturing company in Wayne County is seeking an experienced Paint Shop Supervisor to lead daily paint operations. This is a hands-on leadership role within a production environment. Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications Supervise daily paint shop operations and assign work to team members Use and oversee liquid and powder coat painting processes Hang and mask parts for paint; stand in paint booth up to 8 hours per shift Ensure paint quality meets customer and internal standards Coordinate with Metal Shop, Quality, Engineering, Receiving, and Production Enforce safety policies, PPE use, and proper chemical handling Maintain compliance with environmental regulations (SDS/MSDS, waste disposal, ventilation) Perform routine maintenance and manage paint shop inventory/supplies Support inspections and audits Assist other departments (including silkscreen) as needed

Qualifications:

3–5+ years of manufacturing experience (paint environment preferred) Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Experience with liquid and powder coating processes Ability to read blueprints Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work overtime as needed Competitive pay, $25-30/hr doe, and benefits offered.
