As an Assembly Operator III, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electronic systems that support critical missions. Your work helps ensure that every product leaving the manufacturing floor meets exacting quality and performance standards.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on assembly work, problem-solving, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products that matter.
Job Description
Job DescriptionAssembles parts, components, sub-assemblies and assemblies manipulating a variety of hand tools and productionized semi-automatic assembly equipment.
Basic use of soldering irons and go-no-go gauges
Responsible for operator verification (OV) and reporting
Ability to follow work instructions and reference blueprints when necessary
Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams by providing technical feedback and support
Contribute to the development and improvement of manufacturing procedures
Follow safety, quality, and process standards to support consistent, repeatable outcomes
Light lifting of assemblies weighting up to 30lbs
Required Skills:
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
5+ years of related experience in electromechanical assembly
Soldering experience with J-STD endorsement
Experience working from engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and written or verbal guidance

Skills:
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Willing to maintain a high level of productivity without compromising quality standards
Attitude: has a positive can-do attitude in everyday work. Is able to deal with and support change
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (clearances are granted to U.S. citizens)
