Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Die Cutter Operator to join their team. As a Die Cutter Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Die Cutter Operator
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Pay Range: $22
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
What's the Job?
- Set up and operate rotary die cutters to convert raw materials such as foam, film, fabric, tape, and paper into custom shapes and sizes.
- Review production orders and ensure raw materials and packaging match the bill of materials.
- Maintain adherence to production schedules, meeting targets and reporting issues promptly.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently to maximize machine utilization.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience of 5+ years in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of rotary die cutting processes and equipment.
- Understanding of FDA, cGMP, OSHA safety requirements.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
