Your Role
As a Raw Material Specialist, you will manage cross-brand and cross-category raw material development from concept through production readiness. In partnership with cross-functional teams, you will help develop and deliver high-quality product that aligns with design intent, brand aesthetic, and performance standards—on time and at scale.
You will collaborate closely with teams including Design, Production, Merchandising, Technical Design, Color & Print, Regulatory, and Asia-based partners to ensure seamless execution throughout the development lifecycle.

Your Impact In This Role, You Will- Partner with Raw Material Manager to source both knit and woven fabrics and trims from approved global suppliers and internal libraries while meeting design aesthetic, performance, and cost targets
- Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot complex development challenges and implement effective solutions
- Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing or costing risks early to ensure quality execution in bulk production
- Collaborate closely with design teams to understand fit intent and garment aesthetic requirements
- Contribute innovative ideas supporting fabric development, sustainability initiatives, and product advancement
- Maintain a strong understanding of raw material performance and how materials perform in garment form
- Conduct risk assessments related to raw material compatibility, garment care, intended use, and regulatory compliance
- Manage and maintain raw material data in Centric to support on-time delivery and accurate reporting
- Present raw material information clearly in cross-functional meetings
- Oversee quality assurance processes for fabrics and trims within your category
- Foster positive collaboration by consistently demonstrating shared values and high standards

Maximum Salary$
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in raw material development
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
- Proven problem-solving ability with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of fabric and trim development, including knitting, weaving, lace construction, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes
- Awareness of fabric trends and industry innovation
- Experience working with international supply bases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product lifecycle systems
