Role:
Production Coordinator
Location:New York City (Central).
Role SummaryWe are recruiting for a talented Production Coordinator to join our team based in New York, USA.
The ideal candidate will be fashion obsessed with strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate pre-production and production timelines across multiple product categories.
- Track seasonal calendars to ensure key deadlines (proto, SMS, fit, bulk) are met.
- Issue and manage purchase orders for raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor production schedules and follow up with factories to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain production WIP (Work In Progress) reports and status trackers.
- Act as the main point of contact for factories, mills, and trim suppliers.
- Communicate changes in specs, quantities, and delivery dates to relevant parties.
- Support factory onboarding and vendor compliance processes.
- Resolve production issues, delays, or quality concerns in a timely manner.
- Oversee the tracking and delivery of all development samples.
- Ensure samples are aligned with design intent, tech packs, and production specs.
- Coordinate with design and technical teams on approvals and comments.
- Coordinate QC processes, inspections, and lab testing (if applicable).
- Log and address quality concerns, returns, or defect reports.
- Ensure production meets brand standards and compliance requirements,
- Maintain accurate data across internal systems (e.g. BOMs, costings, POs).
- Track and report on margin, MOQs, and cost targets with the buying/merch teams.
- 2-4 years of experience in fashion production and product development (apparel, accessories, or footwear).
- Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and production workflows.
- Experience working with oversea suppliers.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendars.
- Comfortable reading tech packs and interpreting construction/fit comments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented – can troubleshoot production or delivery issues quickly.
- Detail-driven and methodical in documentation and follow-up.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical mind set and ability, with proven experience in an analytical role
- To be able to problem solve & make decisive decisions
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal & written skills, as well as demonstrating excellent relationship management skill
- You have proven ability to build, lead and manage teams
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables with hard deadlines
- Entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in a fast-paced, high growth environment
