Production Associate

Position Summary: Mac Kenzie-Childs is seeking hands-on, detail-oriented individuals to join our Production team. This entry-level role supports multiple manufacturing areas including ceramics, furniture, and specialty production operations. Production Associates contribute to the creation, assembly, forming, finishing, and preparation of handcrafted home furnishings. Paid on-the-job training is provided. This role follows a 4-day work week (Monday - Thursday).

* Assist with forming, molding, assembling, finishing, or preparing products across various production areas

* Use hand tools and equipment to shape, refine, or prepare materials

* Support production setup and breakdown activities

* Monitor product quality and ensure consistency to company standards

* Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

* Accurately record production and/or labor tracking data as required

* Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment

Production Associates may be trained and cross-trained in multiple areas based on business needs and skill development.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred

Special Requirements:

Overtime work as required to meet business needs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Ability to use basic hand tools

* Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Equipment Used: Hand tools and production equipment applicable to assigned department, computer for basic data entry, safety Equipment: PPE as required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

* Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, crouch, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive hand motions

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier items with assistance

* Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, inspections, and adjustments
