Assembly Technician

Location: Rensselaer

Our client is seeking a temporary Assembly Technician to join their team! This position is located outside of Albany, NY.

Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician will include:

• Assemble and test products, including mechanical assembly of subcomponents
• Maintain tools
• Complete data entry and documentation tasks
• Follow detailed work instructions
• Maintain a clean work area
• Report issues and assist with process improvements
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications for the Assembly Technician:

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with wiring
• Good communication skills with a commitment to customer service
• Able to follow directions and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good hand-eye coordination
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role is a plus
• Associates degree in physics, engineering, or another STEM field is a plus

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $20-$22/hr.
