• Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Design, implement, and refine production workflows, tooling, and fixtures to support lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and equipment specifications.
• Support the integration and programming of CNC machines and metal fabrication equipment and recommend new technologies or equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Recommend process and operational changes to overcome process issues, avoid deviations, and improve productivity by analyzing and interpreting data from manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all engineering activities.

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Have 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with metalworking experience preferred.
• Understand the properties, behavior, and selection of materials to choose the best option for a specific application's stress, temperature, and environment.
• Have strong project management abilities: planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources to bring projects from concept through to completion.
• Have strong technical skills and the ability to work across all levels in the organization.
• Experience with C/C++ for embedded systems development and real-time control of mechanical hardware preferred.
