We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Trim Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
Responsibilities- Research and development of all Trim components including small trim packaging (Hangtags, labels, jokers, patches) & counter sourcing/ negotiating for price reductions.
- Maintain quality control on bulk trims; including quality approval / trim testing
- Work with vendors on any quality control issues and establishing needed standards.
- Ability to follow and adhere to Time & Action Calendar and manage WIP CHARTS for multiple divisions
- Work closely with the design team on new trim development and sourcing
- Communicate proper label and packaging details to factories seasonally so factories have the most accurate information.
- Source new and existing trim from overseas vendors and factories
- Monitor and manage production requirements to establish trim inventory levels to meet projected demand
- Establish and maintain seasonal TRIM Library record for effective sourcing/counter sourcing of variety of Trims as well as maintaining a library of existing repeated trims and colors for easy access when approvals or programs are initiated.
- Instruct Trim Suppliers on the corporate requirements for Trim Testing and inspections policies; provide technical support to Trim vendors/factories in terms of trim being used.
- Settling issues and problems with vendors & factories.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of fabric, fiber, yarns, etc.
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Must be very organized and detail oriented
- Great time management and ability to multi-task
