About the Role

We're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our project-based machine shop supporting Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. If you thrive in a low-volume, high-precision environment and want to contribute to national security efforts, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (G-code/Conversational).
• Manufacture complex parts to precise tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specs.
• Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to improve processes.
• Document work and maintain compliance with DoD and internal standards.
• Work with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a job or project shop.
• Proficient with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens preferred).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or MIL-SPEC quality standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.
• U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD projects).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machines.
• Programming experience
• Prior work in defense or aerospace manufacturing.
• Active security clearance.
