Quality Technician

Location: Sidney

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Technician to work out of its
state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Quality Technician include, but are not
limited to:

Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes in relation to RMA's
Product review, assist quality engineering with disposition, containment and
work orders
Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and
data
Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality
procedures manual
Determine rework and process work orders
Review of rejection trends

30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

High school diploma and at least 5 years of applicable experience OR an
associate degree in a technical curriculum and 1 year of experience in
manufacturing or manufacturing support environment required
Familiarity with quote and order processing preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Data3 software
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with
customer via phone and email
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs. , and documents
Attention to detail
Proactive problem solving skills
Bending, sitting, typing, lifting, standing, etc. daily
An annual eye exam must be passed with or without corrective lenses
