Mechanical Assembler

Do you have experience in Assembly? We want to meet you! Randstad is looking for a Mechanical Assembler for a premier client in Riverhead. We need someone who is handy with tools, great with numbers, and knows their way around a blueprint.

Salary: $19 - $20 per hour

Shift: First

Work hours:

8 AM - 4 PM

Education:

High School

• Assemble mechanical components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
  .
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to ensure precise fitment and functionality.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify measurements and material dimensions.
• Conduct quality checks on finished assemblies to ensure they meet company standards.

The essential functions of this role include: working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week.

• Proven background in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing field.
• Expertise in using hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly diagrams.
