Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing leader in the industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Custom Department supporting production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Saugerties, NY

Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00/hr

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate various shop machinery including grinders, drill presses, and lathes
• Assist with basic CNC machine operations and ensure finished products meet specifications
• Read and interpret manufacturing instructions accurately
• Help pack, stamp, and inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Use power tools, handheld tools, micrometers, and calipers to support production processes

What's Needed?

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Ability to read and understand simple manufacturing instructions
• Standard or steel toe work boots required; PPE provided by the client
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
