Product Development Manager

The Product Development Manager is a critical operational leader, responsible for driving the end-to-end product development process for seasonal collections for Walmart and Sam’s Club. This role ensures all samples, costing, and development milestones are executed accurately and on time, acting as the backbone of the Merchandising and Design teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced managing complex development calendars and overseas vendors.

• Lead follow-ups with overseas teams on seasonal samples, costing, and development requests according to customer calendars, ensuring on‑time delivery
• Serve as the primary liaison between VP of Merchandising and overseas teams to review costing challenges with VP of Merchandising and Design team and communicates solutions to optimize margins
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on all development projects and provide timely status updates to leadership
• Support preparation and submission of information for overseas sampling
• Implement and maintain trackers and organizational tools to monitor fabric, lab dips, trims, and sample development
• Manage sample requests across all accounts and product categories, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• During peak seasons, supports designers on preparing tech sheets and reviewing 3D assets before proceeding with sample creation
• Supports Technical Design meetings and fit evaluations and share recaps with overseas teams
• Support marketing requests including product descriptions, product page copy, benchmarks, and marketing samples
• Prepare materials and updates for internal and account meetings
• Conduct market and trend research to support merchandising and design decisions
• Proactively identify risks to timelines, quality, or delivery and implement solutions to keep development on track

Salary: $120,000
