The construction of fairlife’s manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state‑of‑the‑art, 750k sq ft greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife’s next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. fairlife plans to hire 250 new employees and bring in approximately 5 million lbs. of milk a day, with room to grow over the coming years.
ShiftSchedule
12 Hour Days:
This is a day shift position, with hours from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role follows a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off. Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Receive and load milk while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards. Hook up and unload tankers, run quality tests on milk and Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) tankers. Ensure the work area is kept in a clean and sanitary condition and be responsible for performing regular sanitation within the raw milk receiving building.
Responsibilities- Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules. Keep the work center audit ready.
- Report to and follow the direction of Processing Supervisors.
- Ensure milk is received within specifications and meets all food safety and quality requirements.
- Responsible for the inspection, documentation and transfer of products being received from supplier to designated raw material silo.
- Receive and load milk, byproducts, and filtration ingredients from tankers while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards.
- Testing and documenting milk loads.
- Clean process equipment such as silos, lines and tankers, including hand cleaning, CIP and COP operations on a daily basis.
- Take accurate samples to monitor CIP system chemical concentration.
- Take accurate samples of products for QA testing.
- Monitor testing equipment and replace supplies as needed.
- Service pumps, valves and heat exchangers to maintain operational state and routine preventive maintenance schedule.
- Report immediately to maintenance and/or supervisor of any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions concerning fairlife equipment, outside hauler equipment, and drivers.
- Follow escalation protocol based on production and quality triggers.
- Aid in the training of new personnel or upskilling of team members.
- Effectively follow proper standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Complete Master Sanitation Schedule, Centerline, and Clean‑Inspect‑Lubricate tasks on time and accurately.
- Communicate with processing on any anticipated schedule delays and/or changes.
- Work safely and efficiently, following all safety procedures and using required protective equipment.
- Troubleshoot small problems and discern when assistance is required from higher levels of authority.
- Ask for assistance when processes are unclear.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computational skills and simple math reasoning.
- Operate equipment effectively after break‑in period.
- Possess or obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Physical Requirements
Responsible for standing throughout the shift, walking on uneven concrete and tile surfaces, and lifting up to 60 pounds on an occasional basis. Physical demands exceed 100 pounds, bending, stooping, twisting, and repetitive use of hands and fingers. Work environment includes ambient temperatures up to 110°F due to equipment operation and cleaning.
