INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)
Join our great Matco Tools plant team in Lakewood, NY and receive incoming products for our plant production. This position is first shift with mandatory overtime when applicable with a starting wage of $31.40.
Plant Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities and duties include:
Efficiently and accurately receive $30M if inventory
Inspect incoming products from various suppliers for count accuracy and initial quality
Report any discrepancies and follow up with vendors
Track inventory through optimal inventory control procedures
Evaluate material frequently and locate inventory discrepancies
Document all movement of material (shipping, receiving, location transfers, etc.)
Analyze cost-correlation of inventory reduction/gain
Will perform Cycle Count as needed and maintain a 95% inventory accuracy by part number and location
Handle RMAs, vendor returns, put away tasks, bin maintenance and other special projects
Will also need to backup current material handling positions which could involve retrieve product from various locations to replenish stock in designated areas, supporting seamless order fulfillment processes
Demonstrate a commitment to safety and operational efficiency
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized and productive work environment
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)
Minimum 3+ years Inventory Management in a Manufacturing Environment
Prior Supply Chain, Logistics or Business experience preferred
Strong computer skills with Excel, MRP, and other inventory mgmt. systems and data analysis
Cross-functional collaboration is required
Fork truck experience preferred
The base compensation range for this position is $65,312 to $74,588 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
