The Small Parcel Clerk’s primary function is to retrieve stock to fill customer orders, fulfill and process orders, accept incoming/outgoing shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.

• Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
• Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres to the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity Loading trailers for Fed Ex / UPS.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Assisting with daily cycle counts of inventory.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment.
• Receives orders and retrieves goods from warehouse when necessary.
• Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects orders for accuracies outgoing.
• Picking/Packing/verifying orders
• Use of scanning gun
• Processing knowledge of small parcel utilizing UPS and FEDEX Ship software
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including:
  • Hand trucks
  • Pallet jacks
  • Forklifts – Stand-up/Sit-down
• Must be comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging from 18ft to 30ft
• Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Basic math & computer skills
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Physical Requirements – Essential

• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.00-$24.00/hour
. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
