Senior Network Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join Peloton’s Global Network Services team as a Senior Engineer at the intersection of enterprise networking and high-stakes media production. In this role, you won't just keep the lights on—you will architect and support the backbone of our global presence, from corporate offices and warehouses to our flagship New York Broadcast Studio.

As a bridge between our Global Cloud Engineering and Studio operations, you will lead the deployment of resilient, scalable architectures that power the live content our millions of members love. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in high-end routing, cloud infrastructure, and live streaming protocols ensures a seamless "Member First" experience.

• Design, deploy, and optimize a complex global footprint involving Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, and Palo Alto Networks across on-prem and AWS environments
• Lead the network analysis and troubleshooting for our NY studio, ensuring 24/7 uptime for live broadcast, video streaming, and OTT delivery
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for network expansions, from initial SOP documentation and traffic analysis to Tier 3 support and disaster recovery
• Partner with Info Sec and Dev Ops to enforce best-in-class security policies, manage SD-WAN solutions, and optimize QoS for media-heavy traffic
• Ensure "operational excellence" by maintaining diagrams, scheduling upgrades, and performing deep-dive root cause analysis on global circuits

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, backed by CCIE and JNCIE certifications (required)
• 3+ years of experience optimizing IP networks for live streaming (HLS, RTMP, SRT) and multicast/unicast technologies. You understand the nuances of traffic shaping for video
• 8+ years in Network Engineering, including 6+ years in complex SaaS environments and 4+ years of Public Cloud design (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and security protocols (IPsec, 802.1x, RADIUS)
• Hands‑on experience with SD-WAN, DDI solutions, and SDN/SDDC (Full Stack)
• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure‑as‑code is a significant plus
• You are a curious, self‑starting problem solver who thrives in a collaborative team and is ready to tackle the challenges of a high‑profile, public‑facing brand

Base Salary Range

$155,333—$191,577 USD
