Terminal Sterilization Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Summary

3rd Shift 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Monday through Friday nights.

Hourly Range: $17.00 - $19.00.

Final pay determinations will depend on experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Operate mechanical equipment to execute each specific product code sterilization cycle.
• Monitor sterilizer cycle progression and troubleshoot cycle aberrations.
• Cross-functional coordination to optimize sterilizer capacity.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete for each sterilization cycle.
• Ensure equipment operates at specifications for calibration, maintenance, and validation.
• Provide feedback to supervisor and peers about cycle status, equipment condition, and other issues that would affect production schedule or continuous improvement.
• Comply with company policies, cGMPs, safety, and good housekeeping practices.
• Assist during calibrations, PMs, inspections, and new product protocols.
• Assist in training new employees and training on new procedures within scheduled time frame.
• Submit work orders and/or CCRs to repair equipment when necessary. Submit changes to SOPs using DCR format or Documentum.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, at times above shoulder level.
• Basic problem solving and good documentation skills.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability a plus.
