Overview
Our Client is seeking a skilled Machinist / Tool Maker to produce high-precision tools, fixtures, and components used in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and CNC machines, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This is a key role in supporting our tooling and production processes.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to fabricate precision tools and components.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
- Measure, inspect, and verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision instruments.
- Perform tool modifications, repairs, and rework as needed.
- Work with engineering and production teams to develop custom tooling and fixtures for specific applications.
- Maintain tight tolerances and high standards of quality in all machined parts.
- Maintain clean and organized work area and follow all company safety protocols.
- Experience with manual and CNC milling and turning equipment.
- Strong blueprint-reading skills and ability to interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
- Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
