CNC Machinist

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team asCNC MachinistinPoestenkill, NY.

The CNC Machinist is responsible for the programming, setup and operation of CNC machine tools.

Responsible for all quality aspects and productivity of part production.

Responsible for all machine maintenance and safety initiatives.

Here are some of the responsibilities of the position:

• Responsible for reading and following engineering drawings and work order instructions for all machining work.
  
  Responsible for the programming, setup, and operation of each CNC machine tool.
• Responsible for manual machining tasks and various post machining operations (polishing, grinding, sanding)
• Work with the Engineering department to improve designs and manufacturability of all parts.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

• Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) - Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Machinist Program)
• 1-2 years hands on experience
• Knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and operation
• Great aptitude and attitude

• The pay range for this position is $28.50-$33.50 per hour depending on experience.
