Quality Manager

Job Description

The Quality Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of the Kraft Heinz Quality Chain Management System at the plant level, ensuring strict adherence to policies, specifications and standards. The manager delivers all products and processes through standard methods and tools to guarantee zero defect from the incoming raw material to finished finished good in a food‑safe setting. The manager also drives continuous improvement of conformance quality at a best‑in‑class cost of quality by using continuous‑improvement tools.

The role has wide‑scale managerial duties, such as hiring and developing talent and budget management.

Responsibilities include implementing and assuring compliance to Food Safety, regulatory and Quality policies; leading to Kraft Heinz Quality Risk Management Program and associated company policy at the site; ensuring USDA and FDA regulations and the plant be compliant; running a robust food‑safe programme such as QA, HAC, sanitation, pest control, GMP, traceability and other food‑safety system; maintaining continued effective policies and an audit plan;

acting  as primary liaison with regulatory officers; developing plant Quality KPIs and scorecard; verifying the quality system metrics with the plant leadership and BU quality quarterly; ordering summarised policy for compliance; guiding lab building to the methods, equipment and appropriate equipment; standard work through documentation and training; answering the audit results; obtaining FSSC certification; ensuring no major audit deficiencies.

Experience and skills include collaborating with teams and associates; CQE experience; understanding food‑safety and regulations; applying statistical methods including process / on and DFSS and L / E and lean; having HAC certification; sanitation knowledge; building knowledge of all plant employees; coaching;
Guiding and modelling quality standards; watching quality influence; training and coaching.
